Cher Tha Pwee

Last Sunday we were in high spirits as we celebrated thanksgiving, Karen style. Yes, we realize it is not the same timing as USA, but it is the Thai New Year… Muwai’s family had a special worship. Afterwards, he told me about a small boy who had attached himself to a traveling group fleeing Burma. This little one was now staying with his grandfather, but he had developed a large tummy, ( like his mother had, just before she died three years ago.) They asked that he come to Bamboo School, for education and medical help. Thus we have a new one.

When I took him to the Sai Yok doctors, a blood examination diagnosed that he has a disease called thalassaemia, a spleen malfunction. We will take him onto the district hospital tomorrow. When filling in his hospital record card, he did not know his age, his mother’s name, etc. Therefore we gave him Momo Cat as his mother! We guess he is about 7 or 8 years old. Please pray for him, he needs God.
