Excited, timid, upsidedown, yet at peace
It is almost time to fly. Count down time. I wonder how much NZ has changed. I know I have changed... bumps, lumps and wrinkles! This week the team building has begun, in readiness for my departure. I feel left out a bit.
Firstly Sue has arrived from Australia to take over the clinical work, today going through the ropes of inductions to our support at Sai Yok hospital, Dr Supat. He gave us a truck full of medicine in readiness for the medical team arriving tomorrow.
Ruth and Colin are in residence, mainly running the school and duties of students. Little Zac now sleeps at their house at night. I have had my first big bed experience, one without a squirming little one.
Glenys is helping with food, shopping and the guest hostessing. All of them are teaching... so what is Momo doing??? cleaning up, packing, making powerpoint presentations and printing on the new printer, a business card!!
We have a new village to care for, Judor. It is about 35 minutes from us, down a horrible road. Please pray that we can bring the first Christian message into them, via the medical team visit this Friday.
I am looking forward to the dentists treating our kids teeth tomorrow also.. Hopefully this will encourage our kids to care for what God has given them.
May God bless each of you as you begin to count days to Christmas and New Year celebrations. The Bamboo School will start today. we are carving candles with words of Christ, to give to each house in our village. He is the light of the World, so we give light.
