Rain… yes it is raining in the district of Sai Yok, in January. A most unusual season for us. Today the SDA church at Bong Ti is having their traditional feast of thanksgiving for the passed blessings, and they look forward to what the new year will bring.
I praise God for all the helpers and visitors we have had, the good things we have been blessed with and the broken things (like legs, and cars!) as well. I know we are in His hand, so we will continue to be blessed by His spirit.
we are at the hospital saying goodbye to an elderly man, dying with cancer and TB. We also have brought in a patient with dengue fever…. a continuing source of worry in the village. One young boy from the local primary school died in a motorbike accident as well.
I praise God for the ongoing support for our ministry from the Sai Yok hospital (Dr. Supat, Dr Ann and Dr Trid) and that of the Mission Hospital (Dr. Sujane). Without these professional helpers, many of our people would suffer. Today we have dealt with more that 10 cases, giving free medicines and treatment, courtesy of these local doctors. Praise Him for their generosity and kindness and friendship!
